I wrote a frustrated rant about the education system, prompted by the essays I’ve been reading in my english class. And then i deleted it. All i will say is:
The system is broken.
Our thinking is broken.
Through all of the angry essays poking at my own misgivings about the education system, one thing has become very, very clear.

Addendum
I read through my post here and felt I might be taken as too critical. So may I say again how much I enjoy being a part of the local AdFed. The events and workshops are worth the money (especially for you students! it’s only $60) and offer more opportunities and connections then you could ever hope to collect on your own.
Plus you have the events like Red Shoe (Oct 28th!) and the local ADDY...
